Hongshan Park in Jinan

One of the city’s six district-level parks, Hongshan Park is located on Jinan’s Tourism Road in the Olympic and Cultural Expo area. The construction of Hongshan Park was one of the key projects of Lixia District, Jinan in 2008, and it is now open to the public.

Through a series of measures such as digging fish-scale pits, covering with plastic film, building water storage ponds, and planting drought-resistant seedlings, the once barren hillside has become lush and green all year round, achieving continuous vegetation coverage and greatly improving the ecological environment of the mountain.

Known as a “mountain of flowers and fruits” that remains green all year, blooms for three seasons, and bears fruit for two, Hongshan Park is a new destination for locals to relax, enjoy leisure activities, and exercise on weekends.
