Martyrs' Cemetery of the 1911 Revolution

The Martyrs' Cemetery of the 1911 Revolution is a cultural relic protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Martyrs' Cemetery of the 1911 Revolution is located at the eastern foot of Thousand Buddha Mountain in Jinan, Shandong Province. It was first built in the 23rd year of the Republic of China (1934) and renovated in 1983. The cemetery stretches from north to south, following the natural slope of the mountain. At the northern end is a black granite screen wall, with "Martyrs' Tomb of the 1911 Revolution" inscribed on the front and "Brief Record of the Renovation of the Shandong Martyrs' Tomb of the 1911 Revolution" on the back. South of the screen wall lies the burial area, where 23 martyrs of the 1911 Revolution are laid to rest.

There are three main tombs in the martyrs' cemetery, arranged in a triangular pattern. The central tomb belongs to Xu Jingxin, leader of the Shandong Branch of the Chinese Revolutionary Alliance and a key figure in the 1911 Revolution in Shandong. On either side are the tombs of veteran Alliance members Bo Ziming and Liu Bolin. North of the main tombs are the burial chambers of other Alliance members including Wang Yongfu, Zhang Tongpu, Qin Mingtang, He Feng’ao, and Zhao Jinzhang, as well as those of Communist Party members Shi Dejin and Zhu Xigeng from the period of the First United Front.

On June 12, 1992, the Martyrs' Cemetery of the 1911 Revolution was designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Shandong Province by the People's Government of Shandong Province.
