Anshan Temple is a national AAA-level tourist attraction and a cultural tourism site.

Anshan Temple is located 15 kilometers southeast of Sishui County, on the right side of Provincial Highway S244, nestled among the mountains of Anshan, Mashan, and Hongding Mountain. The temple sits against the mountain and beside the water, boasting an elegant environment and has long been a renowned scenic spot for tourism and summer retreats.

Anshan Temple was first built during the Zhenguan era of the Tang Dynasty. Originally named Anshan Yongquan Temple, it was later abbreviated to Anshan Temple. It was renovated three times during the Ming and Qing dynasties, with over 20 structures built including the main hall and meditation rooms, as well as six historical stone tablets.

Within the temple grounds are two ginkgo trees planted during the Tang Dynasty, standing over 20 meters tall with deep roots and lush foliage. Their canopies spread like umbrellas, and one of them is so large that it takes six or seven people to encircle its trunk, presenting a truly magnificent sight. To the east of the temple lies a spring called Yongzhu Spring, which never dries up even in prolonged droughts. Water continuously bubbles up from the bottom, resembling strings of pearls, creating a breathtaking spectacle.

On the eastern side of the temple, on the sunny cliff of Anshan Mountain, there are five cave grottoes aligned in a row. Inside these caves are statues of the Eighteen Arhats, collectively known as the Arhat Caves. The largest cave is about 4 meters high, 5 meters wide, and over 20 meters deep, adding a touch of mystery to Anshan Temple. About 1 kilometer south of the temple lies a vast peach orchard covering tens of thousands of acres. Every spring, when the peach blossoms are in full bloom, the area is bustling with visitors, adding a beautiful highlight to Anshan Temple. The Anshan Mineral Water Factory, an antique-style architectural complex integrating sightseeing, tourism, and production, with an investment of over a million yuan, along with the crystal-clear artificial lake in front of the temple, further enhances the charm of the site. In early spring, when peach blossoms and willows are green, flowers bloom competitively, birds chirp, and streams babble, the “Spring Beauty of Anshan” becomes a major scenic highlight of the county. In summer, the dense shade provides cool breezes, attracting numerous visitors seeking respite from the heat. In autumn, with the sky high and clouds light, the sound of wild geese fills the air, and fruit-laden trees present a pastoral scene. In the deep winter, bubbling springs, rising steam, and snow-covered landscapes leave visitors enchanted.
