Bianyi Site

The Bianyi Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Bianyi Site is located in Quanlin Town, Sishui County, dating back to the Shang and Zhou dynasties.

On June 23, 2015, the Bianyi Site was designated as part of the fifth batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Quanlin Town: Located in the eastern part of Sishui County, Jining City, Shandong Province, Quanlin Town borders the Linyi-Mengshan Revolutionary Base Area to the east, Qufu—the hometown of Confucius—to the west, Zoucheng—the hometown of Mencius—to the south, and Mount Tai—the foremost of the Five Great Mountains—to the north. Covering a total area of 118.4 square kilometers, it governs 65 administrative villages with a population of 68,000. It has been listed as a central town by the provincial government and recognized as an “Advanced Town in Safety Creation” and a “Star Township of the Land of Confucius and Mencius.” In 2003, it was honored as one of the “First Batch of Historical and Cultural Towns in Shandong Province” by the provincial government.
