Xiaochengzi Site

The Xiaochengzi Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Jining City.

The Xiaochengzi Site is located northeast of Xiaochengzi Village, Shengshuiyu Town, Sishui County, dating back to the Zhou and Han dynasties, and is classified as an ancient site.

On March 8, 1986, the Xiaochengzi Site was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage protection unit of Jining City.

Shengshuiyu Town: Shengshuiyu Township is located 13 kilometers south of Sishui County. It borders Sishui Town to the north, connects to Sizhang Town to the east, neighbors Tianhuang Town of Zoucheng City to the south, and adjoins Nishan of Qufu to the west. It lies at the junction of Qufu, Zoucheng, and Sishui counties (cities), and is a purely mountainous township with a total area of 136.8 square kilometers. The arable land covers 57,000 mu, and it governs 60 administrative villages, with 13,000 households and a population of 45,600. There are 96 large and small hills within the territory, and the main industries include forestry, fruit, animal husbandry, peanuts, and sweet potatoes.
