Sishui County Qinglong Mountain Forest Park is located to the north of Quanlin Town in Sishui County, at the border between Jining and Tai’an cities. It lies to the east of Leize Lake, west of Huaxu Lake, and south of the Quanlin Springs Scenic Area. It is a national forest park and a national AAA-level tourist attraction. Qinglong Mountain was historically known as Bian Mountain, Guan Mountain, Shiwu Mountain, Jindingyu, and Lushan, among other names. It is a bluestone mountain that runs from east to west, winding continuously with a magical and majestic appearance, resembling a long dragon lying across the beautiful mountains and waters. Qinglong Mountain has a long and profound cultural history. Legend has it that the ancient stone cave on the mountain served not only as the temporary palace of the Jade Emperor but also as the second hometown of the Goddess of Mount Tai, as well as an ideal residence for Guanyin Bodhisattva. Additionally, the Queen Mother of the West, Lotus Mountain Grandma, Third Fairy Sister, Birth-Giving Goddess, and Erlang Shen often visited. The ancient main hall consists of three rooms, with side halls on the east and west, housing several divine statues. Moreover, there were many monks and Taoist priests who resided here. Inside the cave, the large stele inscribed with the “Record of the Reconstruction of the Guanyin Hall” remains clearly visible.
