Introduction:

Xian Da Ancestral Hall is located at the westernmost end of Caijia Natural Village, Nanjie Village, Sanjiang Town. To the east are residential houses, to the south is a pond, 15 meters to the west is a newly built small temple, and to the north are rice fields.

The entire building of Xian Da Ancestral Hall covers an area of 480 square meters, with three courtyards and five bays, featuring two inner courtyards. The central hall (including the rear annex) has thirteen beams and is 7.8 meters high, with the largest column diameter reaching 40 centimeters, making it quite spectacular. The rear hall has eleven beams and is 7.5 meters high. The main structure of Xian Da Ancestral Hall uses a post-and-lintel and beam-lifting wooden framework, with grayish-blue bricks used for the outer walls (the west wall was rebuilt using modern red bricks after the original old wall collapsed). Overall, it exhibits architectural styles from the Republican period. The building serves as an ancestral hall for villagers from eight Cai-family villages scattered across Sanjiang Town. It was initially built in the first year of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty (1875) and collectively renovated by the clan in the 34th year of the Republican period (1945).

On January 10, 2005, the Nanchang County People's Government listed it as part of the fourth batch of Nanchang County Cultural Relic Protection Units.

Sanjiang Town: Sanjiang Town is one of the few ancient towns in Jiangxi Province with a history of over a thousand years and is also a comprehensive reform pilot town in the province. It has been designated as a key demonstration town for the construction of a new socialist countryside in the province. Located in the southeast of Nanchang County, it borders Huangma Township to the east, Duan Tan Township of Fengcheng City to the west, Yuan Du Township of Fengcheng to the south, and Guangfu Town to the north. Historically, it was also known as Sanjiangkou, due to being situated at the confluence of three tributaries of the Fu River: the Jian River, Yinxi River, and Pengxi River. The town covers an area of 29.2 square kilometers, governs 9 village committees, 96 natural villages, and 2 neighborhood committees.
