Toasting to celebrate the occasion

This signing ceremony marks another new addition to HNA Hotels Group’s portfolio in central and southern China. The signed project includes three five-star hotel properties in Nanchang, which will operate under brands such as s?, 8°, and Yitang. Despite the current slowdown in the hotel industry, HNA Hotels Group has been growing rapidly against the trend, having signed 12 Tangla series hotels in 2015 alone. This also represents another significant step in HNA Hotels Group’s efforts to build the Tangla hotel brand, and the group plans to further expand its presence in Nanchang’s tourism and hospitality sectors.

In addition, HNA Hotels Group is actively accelerating its “going global” strategy. In 2013, HNA Group acquired Spain’s NH Hotel Group, marking a gradual expansion of HNA Hotels Group’s business scope and further refinement of its brand layout. HNA Hotels Group will also make full use of NH Hotel Group’s global hotel network to interact and collaborate with HNA’s existing resources, optimize resource allocation, promote management integration, gradually enhance the overall competitiveness of HNA’s hotel business, and significantly expand its hotel operations in Europe and around the world.

Moving forward, HNA Hotels Group will continue to focus on the “Tangla series brand management output” strategy, aggressively expanding the Tangla series hotels, with a goal of reaching a total of 100 hotels by 2015. The aim is to have Tangla series hotels cover regions served by Hainan Airlines routes, striving to become a source of national pride and the preferred hotel choice for Chinese travelers abroad as well as for state leaders on international visits.
