Taohua Well

Taohua Well is a cultural relic protection unit of Nanchang County.

“Taohua Well” is located within the “Peach Blossom Spring Farmstead,” a tourist attraction in Xinjinglin Natural Village, Angren Village, Gangshang Town, Nanchang County. It is an ancient well from the late Ming Dynasty, with a history of over 400 years.

The well has a long history, remains well-preserved, and is still in use, serving as tangible evidence for the study of well-digging craftsmanship.

The well curb was carved from a single piece of granite, with one side heavily worn and the other side cracked. The well platform has been repaved with small pieces of marble. An information plaque stands on the west side of the platform.

“Taohua Well” is located in Xinjinglin Natural Village, Angren Village. To facilitate tourist visits, a cement road has been built leading directly to the Peach Blossom Spring Farmstead.

On May 7, 2010, the People's Government of Nanchang County listed it as part of the fifth batch of Nanchang County Cultural Relic Protection Units.
