Liu Family Ancestral Hall

The Liu Family Ancestral Hall is a cultural relic protection unit of Nánchāng County.

The “Liu Family Ancestral Hall” is situated in the central part (No. 235) of Nánfáng Liújiā Natural Village, Sāndòng Village, Jiǎngxiàng Town, Nánchāng County. It faces south and has a floor area of 268 square meters. The interior is built with a large-span post-and-lintel wooden structure, featuring thick main pillars and slightly thinner eave pillars, with no wooden walls between the pillars. The ancestral tablets are placed in the center of the hall. The ancestral temple preserves the architectural style of the early Qing Dynasty, with large-scale materials used, and also exhibits distinct characteristics of ancestral hall architecture from the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. It serves as an important piece of evidence for the study of ancestral hall architecture from the same period.

On May 7, 2010, the People's Government of Nánchāng County listed it as part of the fifth batch of Nánchāng County Cultural Relic Protection Units.
