Nestled at the foot of Mount Lu in Jiujiang County, the hometown of Tao Yuanming, Matou Mountain Villa is located in the northern part of Ma Huiling Town along National Highway 105. It lies just 4 kilometers north of the Tongyuan interchange on the Changjiu Expressway, close to Matou Reservoir, and is embraced by surrounding mountains, offering a beautiful environment. This destination combines mountain and water landscapes, featuring over 1,000 acres of forested land and more than 1,200 acres of water surface (Matou Reservoir). Built against the mountain and by the water, Matou Mountain Villa integrates sightseeing, leisure, vacation, accommodation, dining, and conference facilities. Its cuisine highlights fresh fish and wild game from the mountains. The conference center can accommodate over 150 people, and there are 17 guest rooms. Major tourist activities include fishing, water recreation (such as net fishing, boating, and swimming), among others. Over the next 1–3 years, plans include developing the nearby forest resources to establish an agro-ecological fruit park. Upon completion, it will be developed into a comprehensive leisure resort integrating fruit farming, fishing, accommodation, dining, and conferences.
