Mount Yangfeng is flanked by Zixiao Peak to the south and Little Yangfeng to the northeast. To the northwest lies a valley formed by a tensional fault, stretching 7–8 kilometers in length. It is one of the larger valleys on Mount Lu, known as "Kangwang Valley." Legend has it that the "Peach Blossom Spring" in the timeless masterpiece "The Peach Blossom Spring" by the famous Jin Dynasty poet Tao Yuanming was modeled after this valley. At the end of the valley is a waterfall, historically recorded as "Valley Curtain Spring." It is said that Zhuge Liang was greatly astonished when he saw this waterfall.

Highlights:

At the summit of Mount Yangfeng stands a square stone platform called Yuwang Terrace, the spot where the legendary Great Yu is said to have ascended during his flood control efforts. On clear, cloudless days, visitors who climb to this terrace can gaze out to see the Yangtze and Han rivers hanging in the distance, surrounded by the graceful contours of the land.

Introduction:

Mount Yangfeng is the highest peak on Mount Lu, with an elevation of 1,474 meters. It is said that on clear, breezy nights, the lights of Hanyang can be seen from the mountaintop, hence the name.
