The Three Treasures Trees are named after three special ancient trees—two cryptomeria and one ginkgo. Here, the dense canopy blocks out the sun, and green waves stretch as far as the eye can see. The three towering ancient trees stand majestically, two of which are cryptomeria, each about 40 meters tall, and one is a ginkgo, around 30 meters high, with a trunk so thick that several people can't encircle it, resembling a pagoda. The Three Treasures Trees are said to be ancient trees from a thousand years ago, and the stone tablet under the trees is inscribed with the six characters “Handwritten Record by Monk Tan Shen of the Jin Dynasty.” These precious trees have been placed under key protection.

The Three Treasures Trees are part of the Mount Lu Scenic Area. You can reach the Mount Lu Scenic Area by the following means:

By car: 1. From Jiujiang: Take Lushan Avenue to the East Gate of Mount Lu. 2. From Nanchang: Follow the Beijing–Kowloon Expressway, exit at Xingzi, and then take the Lushan Ring Road to get there.

By bus: From Jiujiang Sanli Street (opposite the Armed Police Detachment) or Shilou Building (about a 30-minute ride, every 15 minutes, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM)

How to Visit the Three Treasures Trees Within the Scenic Area

The Three Treasures Trees are located in the deep valley of Huanglong Pool beneath the Lulin Artificial Lake. Walk up the forest stone steps for about 300 meters to reach them.
