“The Story of the Old Villas” is an attraction within the Lushan Scenic Area, located in the eastern valley of Mount Lushan. Covering an area of 4,800 square meters, it includes six villas, such as the No. 283 American Church, and tells the stories of figures like David J. Lawson, Sai Jinhua, and Kuomintang officers. The old villas take you into the real-life scenes of Mount Lushan in the early 20th century, allowing you to understand the origins of the old villas and experience the history and culture of Lushan. “You can’t truly know Mount Lushan without seeing the old villas in the eastern valley”—there’s some truth to that.
