Sixian Terrace In the 30th year of the Jiajing reign during the Ming Dynasty (1551), Cao Bian, an imperial inspector from Jiangxi, built the Sixian Pavilion on Bailudong and wrote the "Record of the Sixian Pavilion." The text reads: "Looking up to the lofty mountain, admiring the virtuous conduct of the sages—how could one not think of them? Hence the name 'Sixian' (Thinking of the Virtuous)." Sixian Terrace stands against the mountain and is the highest point of the entire complex. From the terrace, one can gaze into the distance and clearly see the beautiful scenery of the Bailudong Academy.
