Lushan Power Station Dam
The Lushan Power Station Dam is located upstream of Shimen Gully and downstream of Huanglong Pool, Wulong Pool, and the Three Precious Trees. Construction began in 1956, and power generation started in 1958. It features an inscription by Mao Zedong. The dam completely transformed the previously pitch-dark nights at the top of Mount Lushan. Up close, the dam appears grand and magnificent.
