Ironwall Hermitage

Ironwall Hermitage is the site of a Taoist temple dating back 500 years. It is surrounded by towering peaks, bizarre rocks, massive waterfalls, and flowing springs. Legend has it that the legendary Huangshi Gong once lived here in the mountains, gathering herbs and refining elixirs. Today, when visitors step into this place, an immediate silence envelops them, creating an atmosphere as serene as a Zen garden. Even more astonishing is the remnant of an ancient gate—just outside, the sound of a stream and cascading waterfall roars incessantly like thunder. Yet, the moment one crosses the threshold, all sound ceases, leaving visitors puzzled and amazed.
