The Luhu Water Conservancy Scenic Area is a national water conservancy scenic area.

The Luhu Water Conservancy Scenic Area is built around the Guanyintang Reservoir in Lushan City. It is a reservoir-type water conservancy scenic area, covering a planned area of 8 square kilometers with nearly 1,000 acres of water surface. Surrounded by green mountains, the winding lakeshore boasts excellent water quality, fresh air, and an elegant environment. The area has profound cultural heritage, featuring the ruins of the Kangwangzhai Fortress from the Warring States Period and the Peach Blossom Spring site, as well as the ancestral temple of the Pure Land Sect at Donglin Temple and the under-construction Lushan Donglin Grand Buddha, giving it strong religious cultural significance. The scenic area is strategically located within the Poyang Lake Ecological Economic Zone of Jiangxi and the Hundred-Mile Gallery around Lushan, enjoying a prominent geographical advantage. The Xingzi County Party Committee and County Government have integrated the county’s tourism resources to fully develop the Luhu Water Conservancy Scenic Area. Leveraging the presence of Mount Lushan, they have successfully established the appealing brand of “Visit Mount Lushan for sightseeing, vacation at Luhu.”

Located in Xizhou Village, Wenquan Town, Lushan City, this scenic area combines landscape scenery, Buddhist culture, and the historical legacy of Peach Blossom Spring. It is a water conservancy scenic area focused on leisure, vacation, ecology, and wellness.
