Baoxi Village

Baoxi Village, as its name suggests, is embraced by two streams—one large and one small—intertwining around the entire settlement. It has now evolved into a rural tourism complex integrating picturesque countryside, leisure travel, children’s entertainment, and fairy-tale animation. Set against a backdrop of pine forests and mountain waters, the “Stream Valley” project includes lifelike 3D murals, the Zhonggan Canal, a homestay leisure street, an ecological living water pavilion, outdoor adventure jungle exploration, a castle-themed amusement park, cascading waterfalls, glass sunrooms, and more—offering visitors an immersive “Pine Forest Adventure.”

(Zhonggan Canal) A 1,500-meter walking trail has been built along the Zhonggan Canal water system, eschewing overly hardened designs in favor of a rustic charm. The path is constructed with pebbles and nestled among pristine bamboo and pine forests, accented with colorful flowers and plants—simple yet exuding craftsmanship and ingenuity. One can imagine strolling down the shaded pathway in summer, surrounded by birdsong, floral scents, and the murmuring stream, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, like a scene from a poem or painting.

(Cascading Waterfall) The cascading waterfall landscape draws its water from the pure, natural flowing water of the Zhonggan Canal in Sanqing Lake, creating a majestic, layered effect.

(Pavilion) The classic Chinese pavilion serves as a tranquil spot for rest and recreation by the waterside. Its winding design and corridors offer a serene and poetic atmosphere.

(Short Wall Kids’ Paintings) Reflecting a blend of theme and play, a section of the wall is dedicated for children to doodle on, with murals painted by kids themselves. (Bald Strong’s House) (3D Mural Wall) Over fifty colorful murals themed around children’s play create an immersive fairy-tale world.

(Outdoor Adventure Area) Climbing walls and stationary rollers themed “Underwater World” let children frolic in a sea of laughter.

(Glass Sunrooms) Eighteen glass sunrooms were built along the Zhonggan Canal leisure corridor with an investment of 800,000 yuan, serving as areas for leisure, local specialty, and tourism product trade. The village collective will generate income by leasing them, with an estimated annual revenue of over 80,000 yuan. In the future, villagers will not only be able to uniformly package and sell their locally produced “mountain goods” and “local products” here, but also turn handmade crafts into tourism souvenirs that highlight local characteristics for sale to visitors. This is set to become a great place for tourists to experience the local culture of Baoxi, as well as a “business card” for boosting farmers’ incomes and prosperity.
