Yushan County Museum

Yushan County Museum is a comprehensive museum integrating education, exhibitions, collections, and research, featuring the architectural style of a Jiangnan-style garden. It is located on the east side of Sanqing Park, covering an area of 9,218.9 m², with a total construction area of 7,414.82 m², a green space ratio of 32.5%, and 28 surface parking spaces.

The exhibition hall area is nearly 3,600 m². The first-floor permanent exhibition includes sections such as “Picturesque Mountains and Waters” and “Enduring Cultural Heritage,” as well as a stele carving exhibition hall and a temporary exhibition hall, along with a youth second classroom. The second-floor permanent exhibition features sections including “Treasures of Civilization,” “Folk Customs,” “Eternal Glory,” as well as the “Memorial Hall of Academician Huang Jiasi,” the “Memorial Hall of Liu Zigu,” calligraphy and painting exhibition halls, and a temporary exhibition hall. The office area includes a multi-functional hall and storage on the first floor, offices on the second floor, and meeting rooms on the third floor. The layout is rational and the functions are comprehensive.

Yushan County Museum is a new cultural landmark and tourist attraction in Yushan. It is dedicated to helping visitors learn about the local customs, culture, and history of Yushan, while providing a smooth, natural, safe, and comfortable visiting environment. With a rich collection and numerous exhibition activities, the museum welcomes hundreds of thousands of domestic and international visitors every year. It serves as a science education base at both the provincial and municipal levels, a municipal-level patriotic education demonstration base, and a calligraphy creation and training base.
