Liju Temple is another key scenic area within the Hongyan Scenic Zone. Located in Liju Mountain Township at the northeastern edge of the city, bordering Wuyuan County, it covers a total area of approximately 90 square kilometers. The area features lush peaks, verdant forests, and bamboo groves, creating picturesque scenery. In summer, the climate is pleasant, with temperatures averaging 6–8°C lower than those in the lower areas, and free from mosquitoes and flies. At dawn, you can witness the magnificent sight of the sun rising in the east and the vigorous scene of clouds and mist enveloping the mountains, while in the evening, you can enjoy the changing hues of the sunset reflecting on the peaks and the splendid landscape. It is an ideal destination for eco-tourism, leisure, study retreats, conferences, and couples’ trips.
