Yongfu High Mountain Oolong Tea is a type of oolong tea. Its leaves are rolled into tight, round shapes, forming balls or semi-spheres, and it follows the same craftsmanship as Taiwanese oolong tea. The tea plant varieties grown in Yongfu include Ruanzhi Oolong and Jin Xuan, which are the same as those used in Taiwan’s oolong production.

Yongfu Town is located in Zhangping City, Longyan, Fujian Province. With its unique mountain climate — similar in temperature and latitude to the cool, moist conditions of Taiwan’s Alishan — it has earned the nickname “Mainland Alishan” and is an ideal place for growing high mountain oolong tea. The town sits at an average elevation of over 755 meters, surrounded by mountains on all sides, forming a typical high mountain basin. It enjoys abundant sunlight, minimal seasonal temperature variation, and significant day-night temperature differences. Coupled with frequent rainfall and heavy fog, these conditions result in tea leaves of superior quality, tenderness, and aroma — producing tea that is fragrant, sweet, and highly resistant to brewing.
