East Lake Park is located in the eastern part of Leping City, stretching along both sides of Dongfeng South Road, bordered by Denggao Mountain to the north, Jinhui Lanting residential area to the west, Yingbin Avenue to the south, and Oriental Hotel to the east. It forms an ecological park centered around Denggao Mountain, radiating southward and complemented by three artificial lakes to the west and south.

East Lake Park covers an area of 229,100 square meters (343.6 acres), including approximately 133,330 square meters (200 acres) of water surface. The civic square occupies 21,000 square meters, while green spaces span 74,770 square meters, resulting in a green coverage rate of 80%. The park includes areas such as the civic square, central landscape zone, fitness activity zone, entertainment activity zone, cultural memorial area, natural ecological zone, and sports & leisure zone. These are interspersed with three artificial lakes, creating a setting that features “mountains and water in harmony with winding shorelines,” serving as a comprehensive urban leisure park for relaxation, entertainment, sightseeing, flood discharge, and cultural fitness activities. It stands as an important landmark of Leping City.

With its unique natural scenery and cultural landscapes, East Lake Park attracts many locals for leisure and recreation. The lush forested Denggao Mountain is crisscrossed with winding paths and stairways leading to the summit, all tucked within the greenery. Visitors strolling through can enjoy breathtaking views. In the civic square and fitness zones, people take walks, practice swordplay, perform martial arts, or dance to stay active and cultivate their well-being. At sunrise, beams of sunlight filter through the trees, casting a golden glow on those exercising in the morning—a harmonious scene of humans and nature in unity.
