Tomb of Ma Tingluan

The Tomb of Ma Tingluan is a cultural heritage site protected by Leping City.

The Tomb of Ma Tingluan is located at the border between Leping and Dexing cities, approximately ? kilometers from the city center, on Lotus-shaped Mountain. The tomb still exists today. It was looted in the early years, leaving behind only a broken epitaph, which is now preserved in the city museum. The *Fufeng Ma Clan Genealogy* records: "By imperial decree, he was buried in Gao Tang, Lotus-shaped Mountain, in the 37th District of Deyi County, facing the Hǎi (巳) direction of the Lotus Shape on the Hài (亥) mountain. There is also an ancestral pond of the Ma family in front of the tomb. His wife, Lady Zhang, is buried together with Ma Tingluan at Yuliantang in Jiaqiao, Jiaoyuan, Jiaoxing, facing the Guǐ (癸) direction of the lotus pond on the Dīng (丁) mountain. Yuliantang is located next to Lotus-shaped Mountain. Based on this, it can be concluded that Ma Tingluan and his wife are buried together at Lotus-shaped Mountain. The tomb was damaged in the early years. In the early 1990s, Ma clan descendants from both within China and overseas funded a large-scale restoration. In 2001, it was designated as a cultural heritage protection site of our city.
