Tomb of Wang Daocheng

The Tomb of Wang Daocheng is located on Yaopian Mountain at Majia Seed Farm, 8 kilometers north of the city. The tomb faces south with its back to the north, bordered by Anbang Village to the north, Lejing Highway to the south, Qianwu Village to the east, and Chengjiawu to the west.

In front of the tomb, there is a pair each of stone statues, stone horses, stone pedestals, stone pillars, stone steles, and stone offering tables, all standing opposite one another along both sides of the tomb’s sacred path. According to local residents, the tomb was excavated by descendants in the early years after the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The stone carvings on both sides of the sacred path were severely damaged during the Cultural Revolution. Today, only three stone steles remain, one of which bears the inscription “Winter, 1867, the Dingmao Year of the Tongzhi Reign,” and they are currently preserved at Majia Seed Farm.
