The site of Bixia Temple is located in Baishiyiying Township, Cheng’an County, dating back to the Ming and Qing dynasties.

The site of Bixia Temple is among the third batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Handan City.

Baishiyiying Township: A township under the jurisdiction of Cheng’an County. Established as Baishiyiying Commune in 1961 and restructured as a township in 1984. It is located in the southeastern part of the county, covering an area of 33.6 square kilometers with a population of 22,000. The Bei (Sanhu) – Li (Jiating) Highway passes through the area. The township administers 24 village committees: Baishiyiying, Dongyuegu, Xiyuegu, Houyuegu, Shizhongcun, Zhaozhongcun, Sunzhuang, Pangzhuang, Jiazhuang, Yangzhuang, Dalvbiao, Xilvbiao, Xiahezhen, Zhangbian, Tuancheng, Nansanhuhu, Guojinshan, Dajinshan, Fengjinshan, Lianjinshan, Dongnanyang, Xinnanyang, and Hounanyang.
