Jiquan Peak, also known as Dazhou Ridge or Ridge Sword Peak, is located near Emen Village in Huangzhuang Township to the north of the county. With an elevation of 310 meters and covering an area of 4.5 square kilometers, it stretches from east to west. The mountain features lush peaks and beautiful scenery, earning it the title of "the Second Highest Peak in Southern China." The hike up to Jiquan Peak from Emen Yijia winds through twisting paths covered by dense shrubs and tangled vines, forming a shaded mountain trail that is cool and tranquil. At the summit stands Jiquan Temple, built during the Song Dynasty by the monk Dongfang and surrounded by graceful bamboo, giving it a secluded, almost fairy-tale-like appearance. In the early years of the Hongwu reign of the Ming Dynasty, Gui’e (an official of the Ministry of Personnel) studied here. The site also offers many scenic spots that captivate visitors, such as Immortal Stone, Jiquan Spring, Palace Flowers Covering the Sky, Twin Dragons Entering Water, and Iron Fence Tiger Trap. Ni Guokang wrote a poem about it: "Amid all the monastic groves where plants are withered, sparse bells echo from high above. The spring sound in the ravine sounds just like rain, while the drifting mist seems halfway like a tide. My clear whistle follows the wind to the stream, my new poem under the moon is written on banana leaves. Climbing alone through layered peaks still stirs ancient thoughts, I leisurely restore Tang Dynasty steles by the stone bridge."
