The Blood Control Memorial Hall is a national AA-level tourist attraction, a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangxi Province, and a patriotic education base.

The "Blood Control Memorial Hall" in Yujiang County is the only one of its kind in Jiangxi and the largest blood control exhibition hall in China. Established in October 1978, it is located in the central area of Yujiang County and was inscribed by the renowned calligrapher Wu Zuoren. The entire complex covers an area of 6,483 square meters, with a building area of 2,345 square meters, and features a traditional four-courtyard architectural layout, with a simple yet magnificent style. The main entrance faces a central square, which harmoniously corresponds with the "Blood Control Monument" on the opposite side of the square. The main body of the memorial hall stands 12.66 meters tall, with eight 11-meter-high square pillars flanking the outer porch, their capitals adorned with relief carvings of "Spring Breeze and Willow" and "White Clouds and Flying Swallows," complementing the poetic imagery. The exhibition halls are arranged around the inner courtyard, connected seamlessly for a natural flow. The inner courtyard is elegantly designed, with ponds, archways, stepping stones, and greenery thoughtfully placed throughout, creating a refreshing and serene atmosphere.

The hall consists of six sections: the Prologue Hall, the First Exhibition Hall (The Hardship Chapter), the Second Exhibition Hall (The Eradication Chapter), the Third Exhibition Hall (The Consolidation Chapter), the Fourth Exhibition Hall (The Transformation Chapter), and the Yujiang Celebrities Hall. Through a wealth of precious historical materials, the exhibition presents a panoramic view of how the people of Yujiang, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, overcame numerous challenges to eradicate schistosomiasis and consolidate its control achievements. Numerous real-life examples highlight the fundamental purpose of our Party and interpret the profound meaning of the important thought of the "Three Represents." Since its opening, the hall has welcomed over two million visitors from across the country. In 1998, it was designated as a Youth Moral Education Base by Yingtan City; in 2001, it was named a "Provincial Patriotic Education Base" by the Jiangxi Provincial Committee and the People's Government of Jiangxi Province.
