The former site of the command post of the Northeastern Jiangxi Red Army in Wangjiayuan is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Jiangxi Province.

The former site of the command post of the Northeastern Jiangxi Red Army in Wangjiayuan is located in Wangyuan Group, Wangfang Village Committee, Huaqiao Town, Yujiang District. Built in the mid-Qing Dynasty, it originally served as a local ancestral hall. Covering a land area of 380.1 square meters and a building area of 505.7 square meters, the site has a rectangular floor plan consisting of a front hall, an inner courtyard, side rooms on both sides, and a rear hall. It is a brick-and-wood structure with raised-beam and through-tenon style roof frameworks, covered with small blue-gray tiles, featuring flush gable roofs and fireproofing gables.

Huaqiao, where Wangjiayuan is located, was a strategic stronghold of the Red base area. During the battles against the enemy carried out by local guerrilla forces and the Red Army, the Wangjiayuan ancestral hall served as the command post of the Northeastern Jiangxi Red Army. It was used to study and plan military operations, leading to successive victories in battle. In mid-July 1929, the Guixi County Committee assigned Liu Binglong and Zhang Huandeng to Yujiang to prepare for an uprising, and a Party branch meeting was held in the Wangjiayuan ancestral hall. In August 1929, guerrilla forces from Honghezui, Wangfang, and other areas, together with the First, Fourth, and Seventh Companies of the Red Army, surrounded Nanzhao and achieved victory in the uprising. In November 1932, the Yujiang County Committee held an emergency meeting here to mobilize and organize the masses to form combat teams, using guerrilla tactics to drive out the enemy troops stationed in Wangfang within the Soviet area. In March 2018, it was announced as part of the sixth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage sites in Jiangxi Province.
