The Geliánshi Immortal Cave Scenic Area is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

The Geliánshi Scenic Area is located in Chidu Village, Baishè Town, approximately 30 kilometers from the county seat. Here, rural houses emit wisps of cooking smoke, shepherds’ flutes echo melodiously, the landscape is embraced by rolling hills, shaded by green bamboo, and filled with birdsong and floral fragrance—creating a delightful scene. Nanfeng County has combined the Geliánshi attraction with its rich rural culture, traditional Nuo dance heritage, vibrant mandarin orange culture, and leisure activities. It has deeply explored the essence of clean governance education, integrating moral lessons into entertainment, travel, and the scenery itself, striving to develop it into an educational experience base for integrity culture.

The Immortal Cave is situated in Poyang Village, Baishè Town, also known as “Ziling Mountain,” and is 29 kilometers from the county seat, located beside the Changsha Highway. Its main peak borders the Xù River to the east and connects to terraced fields and mandarin orange seas to the south. There is a peculiar cave here, with a passage running straight through the rock from east to west. The uniquely shaped stones at both entrances of the cave form a striking yin-yang pair—a natural marvel. A local saying goes: “Enter in the forward direction, you’re human; enter in the reverse, you become immortal.”
