The Nanfeng City Wall is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangxi Province.

The Feng Ancient City is one of the best-preserved Ming and Qing dynasty ancient cities in Jiangxi Province with the clearest urban layout. It boasts profound cultural heritage and holds significant value for cultural relic protection and historical research. The ancient city houses four provincial-level historical and cultural districts: Wangxian Bridge, Pangui Fang, Xuxi West Road, and Xuxi East Road. In 2018, Nanfeng County was designated as a provincial-level historical and cultural city.

The Nanfeng Ancient City features over 1,630 meters of Ming and Qing dynasty city walls, 161 cultural relic protection units, and more than 200 Ming and Qing dynasty ancient buildings. It preserves historical and cultural information from various dynasties since the Tang Dynasty, including Tang-era temples, Song-era moats, Yuan-era neighborhood divisions, Ming-era city walls, Qing-era residences, and Republican-era shops. It embodies the cultural exchange and collision between Gan and Min cultures, showcasing distinct characteristics of both regions.
