The former site of the command post of the Red Fifth Army Corps (including the former site of the liaison office of the Red Fifth Army Corps and the former site of the divisional headquarters of the Sixth Division of the Red Fifth Army Corps) is located in Shanhe Village, Huping Township, Le'an County. In March 2018, it was designated as part of the sixth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units in Jiangxi Province.

Huping Township: Located in the southwestern part of Le'an County, Huping Township is 49 kilometers from the county seat. The township covers a total area of 98 square kilometers, governs 10 village committees, 57 village groups, 87 natural villages, and has a population of 18,160 residents across 4,306 households, including 17,289 agricultural residents and 871 non-agricultural residents. The township government is situated in the largest village in the city, with a population of over 8,000. The township has a total of 20,750 mu of arable land, including 20,046 mu of paddy fields and 704 mu of dry land.
