Colorful Stream

Introduction Hidden deep within dense forests, the stream flows gently amidst exotic flowers, ancient towering trees, and fragrant scents. When sunlight filters through the leaves and shines onto the pools in the stream, the water sparkles with a dazzling array of colors, hence the name "Colorful Stream."

There is a pool in the stream with crystal-clear water, a smooth and flat bottom, covering an area of about 7 square meters. Legend has it that Xia Yungu, the principal consort of Emperor Xiaozong of the Southern Song Dynasty (Zhao Shen), who was originally from Xiajiabang at the foot of Mingyue Mountain, often bathed in this pool before entering the palace. Therefore, later generations also refer to Colorful Stream as the "Imperial Consort’s Bathing Pool."
