Baiya Mountain

On one side of the Baiya Mountain scenic area are peculiar peaks and strange rocks, like a zoo naturally carved as if by the hands of a divine craftsman; on another side are vast alpine meadows, resembling a green carpet draped over the mountains; and on yet another side are tens of thousands of acres of pristine azaleas, forming a sky garden high in the mountains. During the spring equinox, when the flowers are in full bloom, they compete in splendor, filling the air with an extraordinary fragrance. Due to the high altitude and the fact that it is an open valley, the area enjoys year-round climatic and meteorological cloud and mist scenery. Under the influence of the wind, the clouds sometimes surge toward the sky and other times envelop your feet and body, making you feel as if you are in a fairyland — breathtakingly beautiful, with the feel of “standing in the clouds and viewing a sea of flowers.”
