The scenic area features Tianya Mountain at the top and Nanshan Valley at the bottom. The main peak of Tianya Mountain stands over 1,300 meters high. From the summit, you can gaze out and feel as though all other mountains are small, with the entire Hongping Lake in full view. On closer inspection, there are over ten natural wonders such as Dragon Head Cliff, Goddess Cave, Turtle Carrying Peak, Toad Gazing at the Moon, and the Wordless Stele. Clusters of welcoming pines at the mountaintop dance elegantly in the clouds and mist, creating a highly enchanting sight. Nanshan Valley offers secluded paths through tranquil surroundings. Standing atop the Upside-down Cliff gives you the surreal sensation of the sky and earth being inverted, with drifting clouds and rosy clouds creating a stunningly beautiful scene.

Tianya Mountain is located in the northeastern part of the Luojiaping Scenic Area in Sanzhaolun, adjacent to Panlong Lake to the east, extending south to Fen Shui'ao, backed by the Nanling Mountain Range to the west, and abutting the mountain and Upside-down Cliff to the north. The scenic area spans approximately 10 square kilometers, with the main peak reaching an elevation of 1,093 meters. From the summit, you can take in the views of neighboring counties such as Yongxiu, Anyi, Xiushui, and Wuning, as well as the sights of the North River, Hongping Lion’s Mouth, Panlong Lake, and Baofeng Temple. The area is characterized by strikingly rugged peaks, soaring cliffs, and uniquely shaped rocks, all exhibiting exceptional natural craftsmanship. The scenery is often shrouded in misty clouds, offering a naturally elegant ambiance. There are ten unique natural attractions, including Dragon Head Cliff, Welcoming Pines, Goddess Cave, Turtle Carrying Peak, Toad Gazing at the Moon, Nirvana Pagoda, Ji Gong Fossil, Buddha’s Palm, Five-Finger Gorge Cave, and Sunrise Cliff, along with lively and adorable birds flying about.
