The Pai Mountain Imperial Edict Stele is a cultural heritage protection unit of Jiangxi Province.

The Pai Mountain Imperial Edict Stele is located in Pais Village, Xiajiang County. In March 2018, it was designated as part of the sixth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units in Jiangxi Province.

[Jin Youzi (1367–1431)] Jin Youzi, whose given name was Shan, was a native of Pais Mountain during the Ming Dynasty (now part of Luotian Town). He passed the imperial examination in the second year of the Jianwen era (1400) and was appointed as an Imperial Censor of the Ministry of Revenue. In the first year of the Yongle era (1403), he served as a Hanlin Academician-Editor. He worked alongside the scholar Xie Jin from Jishui at the Wenyuan Pavilion and was promoted to Lecturer, instructing the crown prince. Jin lectured on the Spring and Autumn Annals and submitted a three-volume work titled “Commentary on the Spring and Autumn Annals.” In the eighth year, the Tatars, led by Benyashe, rebelled against the Ming. Emperor Yongle personally led a military campaign, and Jin accompanied him, tasked with documenting the mountains, rivers, customs, and local conditions encountered along the way.
