Ji'an Luotan Hydraulic Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction and a national hydraulic scenic area.

The Luotan Reservoir Hydraulic Scenic Area is located in Futian Town, Qingyuan District, and is built around the Luotan Reservoir. It is a national-level hydraulic scenic area. Managed directly by the municipal water resources bureau, the Ji'an Luotan Hydraulic Scenic Area is formed around the Luotan Reservoir. The scenic area covers 8.6 square kilometers, including a water area of 5,500 mu. In 2013, it was designated as a provincial-level hydraulic scenic area. The area boasts beautiful surroundings, vast blue waters, and picturesque, colorful landscapes. Within the scenic area lies Jishui Shuinan Town, renowned for the saying “Two prime ministers across the river, three top imperial examinees within five li,” rich in cultural heritage. Here, hydrological landscapes, biological scenery, engineering sights, and a wealth of historical and cultural legends are seamlessly integrated.

Futian Town: Located in the central part of Qingyuan, Futian is the first town to the south of Qingyuan, situated 18 kilometers from downtown Ji'an and 16 kilometers from Ji'an Railway Station. It enjoys well-developed transportation and information networks, with Wenshui Highway and Qingdong Highway passing through the area, placing it within the half-hour economic circle and benefiting from strong urban influence and distinct locational advantages. The town covers a total area of 189.8 square kilometers, governs 14 village committees and one neighborhood committee, with a total population of 23,000 and arable land area of 35,070 mu.
