Former Site of the "February 7th" Beitou Meeting

The Former Site of the "February 7th" Beitou Meeting is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Located in Beitou, south of Ji’an County, Jiangxi Province, the site of the February 7th Meeting is a two-courtyard ancestral hall of the Liang family, facing east with its back to the west. It consists of a front and a rear section, separated by a 2.2-meter-wide corridor courtyard, and is built with a brick-and-wood structure. The February 7th Meeting is well-preserved and has been listed as a provincial-level cultural relic protection unit and included in the *Dictionary of Scenic Spots in China*.

The main hall of the former February 7th Meeting site now serves as the meeting venue, while the side rooms function as exhibition halls for the February 7th Meeting. The exhibits are divided into three sections: the first part, “A Corner of Red in Gan River”; the second part, “Rousing Millions of Workers and Peasants”; and the third part, “One Hundred Thousand Workers and Peasants March on Ji’an.” The February 7th Meeting site has become an important demonstration base for red education in Ji’an City.

In May 2013, the State Council (State Council Document [2013] No. 13) announced the Former Site of the "February 7th" Beitou Meeting as part of the seventh batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.
