Gushan Forest Park

Gushan Forest Park is located in the western suburbs of Xinfeng County and serves as the backyard garden of the central urban area. Actively responding to the "people's aspiration for a better life," Xinfeng has implemented a "one body, two wings" tourism development strategy, meticulously crafting Gushan Forest Park as a livelihood project to benefit all residents.

The park has a planned area of nearly 17 square kilometers and mainly includes the Xinfeng Pavilion complex, scenic vehicle roads, entrance service plazas, a visitor service center, greenways, and walking trails. The Xinfeng Pavilion complex mainly consists of the main Xinfeng Pavilion building, Renxin Square, Wufeng Square, Siyu Platform, Zi Pavilion, Guange Platform, walking trails, stone carvings of the Eight Ancient Scenic Spots of Xinfeng, stone carvings of the Record of Xinfeng Pavilion, a stone relief painting depicting "All Along the Peach River Basking in the Morning Light," shadow carvings of the ancient map "Ancient and Modern Famous Scenes," as well as traditional Chinese paintings and wood carvings inside the pavilion.

The park neighbors the high-speed rail new town and the comprehensive logistics park, facing the Taoh River Wetland Park across the water. Once completed, it will become a cultural landmark and spiritual home for Xinfeng, as well as an ecologically and culturally influential urban forest park in the region. It will not only provide residents with a great place for leisure, recreation, and fitness, but also continuously attract visitors from the Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta, central Ganzhou urban area, and surrounding counties and cities.
