Hundred-Mile Grassland is located in Shuangxi Township, Shangyou County, 58 kilometers from the county seat of Shangyou. The grassland spans 39,000 mu in a contiguous stretch. With a mild climate, plentiful sunlight, and sufficient rainfall, the grass is fresh and tender, creating a perfect natural pasture that can support a cattle load of over 6,000 and a sheep load exceeding 20,000. The green grass sways across the mountains, where cattle and sheep roam freely, presenting a northern landscape scene of “where the wind blows low, cattle and sheep appear.” The Shuangxi Grassland uniquely embodies the charm of a “southern frontier,” attracting many outdoor enthusiasts to visit and experience it.
