Kaohsiung’s first skywalk, "Mount Gangshan Eye," has been constructed in the Little Gangshan Park area and began its trial operation in February. The main tower stands 40.5 meters tall, connected to an 88-meter-long corridor by 24 suspension cables. Ascending Mount Gangshan Eye offers sweeping views of Agongdian Reservoir, Big and Little Gangshan Mountains, and the Taiwan Strait, providing expansive panoramas of Greater Kaohsiung.

Mount Gangshan Eye features an eccentric suspension design, with its steel walkway hanging mid-air. Walking on it gives visitors the sensation of strolling through the clouds. The walkway is designed with a musical theme—the main tower resembles the scroll of a violin, while the suspension cables are styled as radiating violin strings, making it a striking sight amidst the mountains.

Mount Gangshan Eye began its trial operation on February 4, offering free admission to visitors for 10 days. It officially opened on February 14, with full admission tickets priced at NT$80 and half-price tickets at NT$40. Residents registered in Gangshan District can enter for free. To accommodate the large crowds during the Lunar New Year holiday, four parking lots have been designated nearby. Due to the narrow mountain access road, shuttle buses are only available from Kaohsiung MRT Nangangshan Station and Dazhuang Park.
