Xizhou Park in Changhua has transformed into a new hotspot for photos. This year, it opens for nighttime visits for the first time. During the day, visitors can enjoy the beautiful flower fields, while at night, light installations create a sea of lights, also promoting the “Flowers in Changhua” event during the Lunar New Year, allowing visitors to explore both day and night.

The Flowers in Changhua series of events is one of the top ten tourist attractions for Taiwanese people during the Lunar New Year. This year marks the first time a night light festival is held at Xizhou Park. The vast 123-hectare park showcases magnificent flower fields and the beauty of lights, while also promoting tourism in Changhua. Visitors are invited to explore Changhua during the festive season—admire the flower fields by day and enjoy the beautiful lantern displays by night.
The night light festival is designed with innovation, art, industry, and childlike fun as its core concepts. It features traditional Changhua lantern craftsmanship as the main element, combined with cutting-edge contemporary lighting design, highlighting Changhua’s image as the “City of Flowers” while also promoting green energy industries. The Flowers in Changhua event runs from February 16 to March 3, with nighttime lighting setup and trial illumination completed on February 7.
