Kaohsiung's first skywalk, "Mount Gangshan Eye," is built in the Mount Gangshan Scenic Area and began its trial operation in February. The main tower stands 40.5 meters tall and is connected to the walkway by 24 suspension cables. The walkway spans a total length of 88 meters. Climbing up Mount Gangshan Eye offers panoramic views of the Agongdian Reservoir, Mounts Da and Xiao Gangshan, the Taiwan Strait, and more, showcasing the vast beauty of Greater Kaohsiung.

Designed with an eccentric suspension structure, the steel walkway of Mount Gangshan Eye is suspended in mid-air, giving visitors the sensation of walking on clouds. The walkway features a musical theme—the main tower is designed like the scroll of a violin, while the suspension cables resemble radiating violin strings, making it highly visible amidst the mountains.

Mount Gangshan Eye began its trial operation on February 4 and offered free admission for 10 days. It officially opened on February 14, with full admission tickets priced at NT$80 and half-price tickets at NT$40. Residents registered in Gangshan District can enter for free. To accommodate the large crowds during the Lunar New Year holiday, four parking lots have been designated nearby. Due to the narrow mountain road, shuttle buses are available only from Formosa Boulevard Station South Gangshan and Dazhuang Park.
