The Baishuizhai Base is situated around Baishuizhai and its surrounding areas in Xinjian Village, Meishui Township, Shangyou County, with a planned total area of approximately 5,000 mu, including about 420 mu of arable land. While developing cash crops such as osmanthus, peach, plum, jujube, and bayberry on the hillsides, the base also utilizes flat fields to grow a variety of seasonal crops including vegetables, melons, fruits, corn, and sweet potatoes. This creates a picturesque farmland landscape that boasts flowers and fruits in all seasons, evergreen surroundings, and delightful scenery. It allows visitors to enjoy the convenience of modern agricultural irrigation techniques (a combination of sprinkler and drip irrigation) while experiencing planting and breeding activities, agricultural sightseeing, fruit and vegetable picking, and rural fun activities, thereby promoting the scaled development of local agricultural projects.

The Baishuizhai Osmanthus Base is 4 kilometers away from the township government seat and covers Baishui and Shuikou Community in Xinjian Village. This base is dedicated to becoming a large-scale nursery that integrates ecological experiences, sightseeing, and Hakka folk culture. Covering an area of over 5,000 mu with a total investment of 25 million yuan and an annual planned investment of 5 million yuan, the base has currently planted nearly 3,000 mu. The varieties grown include Golden Osmanthus, Silver Osmanthus, Red Osmanthus, and Four Seasons Osmanthus, along with camellia and nageia.
