Gannan Forest Mini Train

The forest mini train starts at Yuancun in Meishui Township, Shangyou County, and ends at Yaoxia Village, offering stunning natural scenery along the way. The Shangyou Forest Mini Railway is currently the only well-preserved forest mini railway in China’s southern forestry region. It has been hailed by German steam locomotive experts as “one of the best-preserved small steam locomotives and narrow-gauge railways in the world,” and was praised by experts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Tourism Resources Evaluation Team as a “world-class tourism treasure.”
