The Ancestral Hall of the Chang Family was first built in the fifth year of the Zhengtong era of Emperor Yingzong of the Ming Dynasty (the year of Yǐwèi, 1439 AD), constructed by the founding ancestor of Changfang Village, Chang Yuqing, and was then called the Family Hall.
