At the end of September 1930, the First Front Army of the Red Army returned to Jiangxi from the attack on Changsha and moved toward the Yuan River basin. Among them, the Red Third Army Corps led by Peng Dehuai liberated the county seat of Xinyu (now Xinyu City) in Jiangxi on October 1, 1930, and carried out land revolution struggles in the Xinyu area. Later, they advanced from Shuixi toward Luofang, Zhangshu, and Linjiang. From October 25 to 30, 1930, the General Front Committee of the First Front Army of the Red Army and the Jiangxi Provincial Committee held a joint meeting 10 kilometers away from here in Luofang, Xinyu, historically known as the “Luofang Meeting.” During this period, the command post of the Red Third Army Corps was stationed here. Therefore, this site is an important part of the National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit — the Luofang Meeting and Xingguo Investigation Site Complex, and it holds significant value for the study of the revolutionary activities of the Red Third Army Corps.

The site is a Qing Dynasty ancestral hall building, constructed with brick and wood, featuring a flush gable roof, three courtyards, and two skywells, covering an area of 561 square meters. Its corridor and wing-room layout is unique, making it one of the representative examples of ancestral hall architecture in Jiangxi, with high architectural artistry and folk research value.
