The Qipan Mountain Ruins in Zhangtang Village, Luofang Town, are an ancient cultural site dating from the late Neolithic Age to the Zhou Dynasty. It is listed as one of the fifth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units in Jiangxi Province.

Luofang Town: Located in the northeastern part of Xinyu City, Luofang Town sits at the junction of Xinyu, Zhangshu, Xingan, and Xiajiang. It borders Zhangshu to the east, connects to Yaoxu Town, neighbors Shuixi Town to the west, adjoins Shuibei Town to the north, and shares boundaries with Xiajiang and Xingan to the south. The town covers a total area of over 270 square kilometers, comprising 36 administrative villages, 1 neighborhood committee, and 276 natural villages. It has a total population of nearly 80,000, with 18,598 households and a town population of 12,000. The arable land area is 99,215 mu, including 79,596 mu of paddy fields, making it the largest town in Xinyu City.
