Former Site of the Xiabao Peasants' Uprising

The Former Site of the Xiabao Peasants' Uprising is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangxi Province.

The Former Site of the Xiabao Peasants' Uprising (including the Uprising Meeting Site – He Dexian’s Residence and the Uprising Location – Xiabao Archway) is located in Xiabao Village, Liangshan Town, Yushui District. This site is composed of two parts: the original location where the Xiabao Peasants’ Uprising occurred and the original site where the uprising meeting was held. The Xiabao Revolutionary Uprising Site was first built in the late Qing Dynasty. It is a three-bay passageway-style building with a brick-and-wood structure, facing south and north, with a tiled roof and a double-slope design. The Xiabao Uprising Meeting Site was also built in the late Qing Dynasty, featuring a brick-and-wood structure, facing west and east, with a tiled roof and a double-slope roof.
