The Former Site of the Headquarters of the 19th Army Group of the Chinese Army during the Shanggao Campaign is a cultural relic protection unit of Jiangxi Province.

The Former Site of the Headquarters of the 19th Army Group of the Chinese Army during the Shanggao Campaign at Zhoujia, Yushui, is located in Zhoujia, Tankou, Zhushan Town, Yushui District. In April 1939, to prepare for the Battle of Nanchang and the upcoming Battle of Changsha, Luo Zhuoying, Commander-in-Chief of the 19th Army Group of the Chinese Army, led his headquarters to Xinyu. It remained stationed here until the start of the Shanggao Campaign. The 19th Army Group of the Chinese Army was a major force on the frontal battlefields of the War of Resistance Against Japan. Therefore, this site serves as an important historical witness to China’s wartime history.
